Social Worker

Hello! I am Dr. Britt Engrav, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Anthony Middle School community as a school social worker! 

I have been a social worker for over 23 years, and this is my 9th year working for Minneapolis Public Schools with this being my 1st year at Anthony.  I am honored to have the opportunity to partner with middle school students, caregivers, and educators during this pivotal phase of adolescent development.  As a school social worker, I address the mental health and emotional well-being of students and collaborate and partner with families and educators in supporting students holistically, both in and outside of the classroom.

I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, my Master of Social Work degree from Augsburg University, and my Doctor of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a Licensed School Social Worker. I am a proud graduate of MPS and am also a MPS parent.  Fun fact: I attended Anthony many, many years ago!

In my free time, I enjoy spending time by water with my family, going to new and old ice cream shops, and attending football, basketball, and baseball games!
