About Anthony

Susan B. Anthony Middle School, located in Southwest Minneapolis, has been an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Middle Years Programme (MYP) since 2012.

Through a rigorous and expansive curriculum that includes conceptual learning plus state standards, Anthony Middle School prepares students for life beyond the classroom. With the focus on academic excellence, IB Approaches to Learning skills, and the ten IB Learner Profile traits, we empower students to make connections with their studies and the global community.

Anthony students can elect to take AVID, a nationally recognized college readiness program, to sharpen critical thinking, organizational, and other vital academic skills. Students also have the opportunity to develop leadership skills through Student Council and to explore extracurricular interests through athletics and a robust after-school program.
